Lloyd E. Myers, 95, of Oxford, Florida, formerly of Trafford, PA, passed away Monday, February 6, 2017 at Promise Hospital of Florida.

He was born November 18, 1921 in Braddock, PA, a son of the late Cyrus and Irene O'Brien Myers.  Prior to his retirement, Lloyd was employed as a machine operator for Westinghouse Airbrake and was a veteran of the US Navy having served in WWII.  He was a member of Trinity Methodist Church of Trafford, VFW Post 781 and Trafford American Legion.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Constance S. Myers.  He is survived by his second wife, Marjorie Myers; sons, Francis and Edward Myers; four grandchildren, Stacy Cooper, Robert Myers, Aaron and Rachel Myers; brother, Russell Myers; and sister, Evelyn Weyant.  Friends will be received on Sunday from 1-4 p.m. at the James W. Shirley Funeral Home, 176 Clay Pike, North Huntingdon, PA.  A funeral service will be held on Monday  at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel.  Interment in Penn Lincoln Memorial Park.  www.shirleyfuneralhome.com.
