Norma (Franchi) Pasula, age 90, of Forward Twp., passed away on Friday, February 24, 2017 at Providence Point. She was a member of St. Michael Parish in Elizabeth Twp. She and her husband, the late Victor Pasula, were the former owners of Payday's Supermarket, two Giant Eagles, and Growers Exchange. Norma continued to expand and manage the "Growers Exchange" business, supplying flowers, pet food and pet food  supplies, recognized as the largest pet food supplier  in western Pa. until she retired at the age of 75.

Norma was born June 3, 1926 in Monongahela. She was a daughter of the late Oliver and Nellie (Lenzi) Franchi. She is survived by her daughters, Michele Pasula of Nevillewood, PA, Victoria Pasula of Pittsburgh, PA, and Franchi (Dr. Abraham) Lavi of Delray, FL; granddaughter, Alexis Lavi of Washington, DC; and grandson, Victor Lavi of Miami, FL. Friends will be received in the Paul E. Bekavac Funeral Home, 221 North Second Avenue, Elizabeth on Sunday, February 26, 2017, from 4-8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Monday, February 27, 2017 at 10 AM at St. Michael Parish with Rev. Thomas A. Wagner officiating. Burial will follow in Jefferson Memorial Park, Pleasant Hills.
