Jack T. Riley, age 86 of McKeesport, died Friday, March 3, 2017.  He was born in McKeesport on April 8, 1930 and is the son of the late Philip and Mary Lacey Riley.  He served in the Army during the Korean War in the 3rd Infantry 7th Armored Division and received the following military medals; Purple Heart, National Defense Service Medal, Korean Service Medal (2 Bronze Stars), Combat Infantry Badge, and United Nations Service Medal.  He was retired from US Steel Irvin Works in West Mifflin.  He loved walking and was an avid sports fan, especially the Notre Dame Fighting Irish.
He is survived by his partner, Dolores Chancio of McKeesport; son, George A. Sabol of West Mifflin; daughters, Sue A. Edwards of Duquesne, Agnes (Michael) Faulds of West Mifflin; sisters, Helen Uhrin and Nora Riley of Versailles; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. He is preceded in death by his brothers, Philip and James Riley.

Friends and family will be received at Strifflers of White Oak Cremation and Mortuary Services, Inc., 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, PA 15131 (Sue Striffler Galaski, Supervisor, 412-678-6177), on Monday, March 6th from 4:00 to 8:00 pm.  Mass of Christian burial will be on Tuesday, March 7th at NOON at Corpus Christi Church with Father Steven Palsa officiating.  Burial will follow.
