Jeffrey A. Burk, 52, of Trafford, died unexpectedly Sunday March 5, 2017. He was born February 1, 1965 in Greensburg, the son of Fred J. and Barbara J. (Watson) Burk of North Huntingdon. He was a graduate of Norwin High School, class of 1984 and a member of First Presbyterian Church, Irwin. Jeff was an Easter Seals poster child at the age of 5 which provided him with many opportunities to attend many sports events and meet Pittsburgh sports figures. He was an avid Pittsburgh sports fan.

In addition to his parents he is survived by his sister Sandra Burk Kutz of Irwin; uncles Paul Litzinger and Jerry (Maxine) Burk; cousins; and his beloved pet dog Isabella. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the William Snyder Funeral Home Inc., 521 Main Street, Irwin, 724-863-1200. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in First Presbyterian Church with interment following in Restland Memorial Park.
