Heather L. Dempsey, 33, of Irwin, died Monday March 6, 2017. She was born June 23, 1983 at Jeannette Hospital, a daughter of William E. Dempsey of North Huntingdon and Terri L (Richter) Dempsey of Irwin. Heather worked as an assistant at Dr. Anna B. Miller, Eye Care Center, Pittsburgh. In addition to her parents she is survived by the love of her life Joseph Aquiline of Pittsburgh; her son Logan L. Swidowski of Irwin; her brother Christopher E. (Natalie) Dempsey of Latrobe; niece and nephew Isabella and Lucas; her grandmother Doris P. Fritz of AZ; also aunts, uncles, cousins and her beloved pet dog Lyla.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents Matilda Dempsey and Edward and Eleanor Richter. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the William Snyder Funeral Home Inc., 521 Main Street, Irwin, 724-863-1200, where a funeral service will follow at 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers a contribution can be made to the family to assist with expenses.
