James S. Foster, 54 of Glassport died at home on March 29, 2017 after a long, hard fought battle with Kidney Disease.He is the son of the late John S. Foster and Dorothy Rhome Foster.  He is survived by his wife of 34 years Andrea (Gaydos) Foster; sons John (Jackie) Foster and Anthony Foster.  Loving grandfather of Chazdine and Sofia.  He is also survived by his mother-in-law Elizabeth J. Gaydos; sister-in-law Susana Bender and Beth (Jeff) Cadman; his loving aunt Shirley Speziale and many loved nieces, nephews and cousins.   He was preceded in death by his infant daughter Sara Elizabeth and sisters Cindy Foster Kelly and Linda Foster.

Jim was a life member of Reliance Hose Co. #2 and Citizen's Hose Company #1.  He was retired from Allegheny County Dept. of Court Records; was a committee man and chairman of the Glassport Democratic Committee; past baseball coach and past president of the Glassport Athletic Association.

Friends received Wojciechowski Funeral Home, Glassport, Sat. 6-8, Sun. 2-4 and 6-8 and Mon. from 10 to 11 at which time a funeral service will be held at Calvary Cemetery, Port Vue.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Foster family.
