Bernard A. Frinsco, age 89 of Elizabeth Twp. and formerly of Versailles, passed away on Thursday, May 4, 2017 surrounded by his loving family at Family Hospice in Canterbury Place in Lawrenceville. Born November 15, 1927 in McKeesport, he was a son of the late Joseph and Mariam (Merisko) Frinsco.
A US Army Veteran of World War II, Bernard retired as a general foreman in the Blast Furnace Maintenance Department at US Steel Duquesne Works and was also the former director of its Duquesne Works FCU. He was a member of St. Patrick's Church in Christy Park and the former St. Denis's Church in Versailles where he was quite active. Bernard was also a member of the Knights of Columbus and, most importantly, a devoted family man. He is survived by his loving wife of 66 years Lois Jean (Sickles) Frinsco, his daughter Karen Ann (Michael) Yurechko, his sons Bernard and David Frinsco, both of Houston, TX, and Timothy (Jackie) Frinsco of Monroeville Twp.; his nine grandchildren; and his seven great-grandchildren. Friends will be received in the DANIEL F. BEKAVAC FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 4504 Walnut St., Versailles Borough, McKeesport, PA 15132 (412-678-3454) on Sunday, May 7, 2017 from 2 to 6 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, May 8, 2017 at 12 Noon in St. Patrick's Church followed by US Army Honors. IF ATTENDING THE FUNERAL MASS, PLEASE MEET AT THE CHURCH.
