Roy R. Bukauskas, age 61, of Blaine Hill, passed away on Sunday, May 14, 2017 at Jefferson Hospital. An Army veteran, he was a retired letter carrier for the U.S. Postal Service in Squirrel Hill for more than 20 years. He was a history buff, especially about Monticello which was his favorite place to visit.

Born November 9, 1955 in Homestead, he was a son of the late Gerard and Dolores (Karrenbauer) Bukauskas. He is survived by his loving wife of eight years, Lisa (Neander) Bukauskas; sons, Brandon (Caroline) Bukauskas of Rochester and Brian (Sarah) Bukauskas of South Dakota; daughter, Brittany (Andrew) Bukauskas of North Carolina; stepsons, Kevin (Samantha) Caldwell of Baldwin and Jonathan (Vicky) Caldwell of Dormont; siblings, Vicki (Lyle) Amundson of Wisconsin, Mary Jo Tynes of Mandiville, LA, and Jerry (Debbie) Bukauskas of Virginia; grandchildren, Ava Bukausas, Chloe and Mackensie Caldwell, Carter Makowski, and Brody Bukauskas; mother-in-law, Beverly Crookham of Blaine Hill; brothers-in-law, Robert Neander of Elizabeth Twp. and Henry (Jamie) Crookham of Forward Twp.; and sisters-in-law, Lori (Mike) Stirbis of Elizabeth Twp. and Kimberly (Ron) Schwartz of Greensburg. Friends will be received in the Paul E. Bekavac Funeral Home, 221 North Second Avenue, Elizabeth on Thursday, May 18, 2017 from 2-4 and 6 until the hour of service at 7:30 PM with Minister Garey Flintall officiating.
