Charles W. Jones Sr.

Charles W. Jones Sr. 83, of Irwin, died Wednesday May 17, 2017. He was born March 17, 1934 in Darragh, a son of the late Robert and Cora (Fair) Jones and was also preceded in death by his wife Doris (McGraw) Jones. He was an Army veteran of the Korean Conflict and retired from General Tire, Jeannette after thirty five years’ service. He was a member of Shidle Lodge No. 601, F. & A. M., Irwin, and a longtime member of the Bromas Club. He was also a member of L.O.O.M. Lodge 236, Irwin, Norwin Elks, and the American Legion Post 359, Irwin. He is survived by his children Kimberly Jones and Charles W. Jones Jr.; a brother Donald Jones and sister Irene Leach; also nieces and nephews including special niece Denise (Shon) Harrity.
