Timothy Reza, age 83, passed away Thursday, May 25, 2017. He was born September 3, 1933 in McKeesport, a son of the late Timothy and Mary (Hutsho) Reza. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War where he survived three years as a POW and was awarded the Purple Heart, he then went onto work as a crane operator for over 36 years at the Irvin Works Steel Mill in West Mifflin. He was a member of the VFW in McKeesport and East McKeesport, American Legion in White Oak and The retired steel workers group SOAR in West Mifflin. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his grandson Timothy Reza; and sisters Betty, Rosy, and Juanita. He is survived by his wife of over 51 years Norma Jean (DiGiorgio) Reza; children Timothy (Theresa) Reza and Cindie Reza; grandsons Alexander and Nicholas Reza; brother Augustine (Karen) Reza; sister Catherine (Jim) Dunbar; and nieces and nephews.

Friends and family will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the Forgie-Snyder Funeral Home, 1032 Broadway, East McKeesport, 412-823-8083, where everyone will gather at 11 a.m. Tuesday for a funeral service with Pastor Eric Dennis officiating.
