Ronald D. Tagaloe Sr., 78, of McKeesport, died peacefully on Wednesday, Feb. 17, 2016. He was the son of the late David and Margaret (Ellis) Tagaloe. He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Margaret A. (Horvath) Tagaloe, who cherished him.
Ronald "Tag", retired from Sears Roebuck after 28 years of service. He enjoyed riding his Harley and was a member of Hog Owners Group & the Antique Motorcycle Club. He was a Master Mason in the Corinthian Lodge 573, Sears Retiree Club and McKeesport Heritage Center. Tag loved his simple, quiet life and just plain loved life. He was an avid gardener, a superb cook and an excellent baker. Tag is survived by two wonderful sons, R. David (Kathy) Tagaloe Jr. and Daniel Tagaloe, both of McKeesport. Tag's daughter-in-law, Kathy, has always been a compassionate friend and the best advocate. She is beyond compare and this is his public declaration of his deep, abiding, eternal gratitude. His four grandsons, Larry (Heather), Craig (Jennifer), Daniel (Lauren) and Ronald III (Diana) brought much joy to his life as he watched them all grow into fine, young men. He was also blessed with seven great-grandchildren. His spirit and determination were stronger than just about anything until God called him home and Tag answered. "Just as I am without one plea, O Lamb of God who died for me." Someday I will gladly follow. Friends will be received from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday at STRIFFLERS OF WHITE OAK CREMATION AND MORTUARY SERVICES, 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, PA 15131, (Sue Striffler Galaski, supervisor, 412-678-6177). Services will be held at 10:00 AM Monday in the funeral home chapel with Fr. Vincent Velas officiating. Burial will follow.
