REID O. "SCOTTY" SCOTT age 93, of West Mifflin, on June 11, 2017. He was a son of the late John and Harriet (Hoon) Scott. He was retired from General Motors in Detroit on the production line. He enjoyed fixing things, football, and playing the lottery. He proudly served his country in the Army in WWII. Beloved husband of Rita K. (Qualters) Bercik Scott; father of Reid Tracey (Jill) Scott of Michigan; grandfather of Jordan Michael Scott, Ryan Scott, Danielle Thompson and Tyler Scott; also three great-grandchildren; brother of Florence Karr of Detroit, MI; stepfather of William O. (Linda) Bercik of Charleroi and the late Sharon Conley; also survived by five step-grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren; and predeceased by one late step-grandchild. Visitation on Thursday from 1-4 and 6-9 p.m. at the MALOY - SCHLEIFER FUNERAL HOME, 915 Kennedy Ave., Duquesne 412-466-3300 where services will be held on Friday, June 16, 2017 at 11 a.m. Pastor John Gropp officiating. Burial will be in Lebanon Church Cemetery with military honors.
