Annamay Palmer, age 91 of West Mifflin, went peacefully with the Lord on Tuesday, June 27, 2017. She was born in McKeesport on January 2, 1926, the daughter of the late Frank and Elizabeth Sharkey Matejcic and wife of the late Edward J. Palmer. Annamay retired from Bettis Atomic Power Laboratory where she worked as a secretary in administration. She was an avid Pittsburgh sports fan, and especially loved the Steelers.

She is survived by her sons Edward Palmer of West Mifflin and Dale (Laura) Palmer of Harmony, granddaughters Maria E. Palmer and Sara E. Palmer, also nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Elizabeth M. Gordon, Pearl V. Jamison, Beatrice Z. Pesante, Lillian G. Thompson, Frank A. and Edward S. Matejcic.

Family and friends will be received on Friday, June 30, 2017 from 10 am until the time of Funeral Liturgy Outside of Mass at 2 pm at Strifflers of Dravosburg/West Mifflin, 740 Pittsburgh McKeesport Blvd., Dravosburg, PA 15034 (412-678-6192).
