Lindsay T. Cruz, age 34, of Hempfield Township died June 24, 2017. She was born December 1, 1982 in Wheat Ridge, Colorado, a daughter of Hector and Margaret Thompson Cruz.

 Lindsay was a 2000 graduate of Pomona High School and a graduate of the Art Institute of Colorado with a Bachelor degree in Art. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her beloved husband Robert Balsewicz, brother, Nicholas and sister Kelli Cruz, grandmother, Alice Cruz, mother in law Patricia Trout, numerous aunts , uncles and cousins and her fur babies Twinky and Shorty.  Friends will be received at the James W. Shirley Funeral Home on Monday from 3-7 p.m. followed by a funeral service at 7 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.  Memorials may be made to the Westmoreland County Humane Society. www.shirleyfuneralhome.com
