Alice (Metzler) Phillips, age 74 of Little River, SC and formerly of White Oak, passed away suddenly and peacefully at home on Thursday, February 25, 2016 with her loving husband Ed Phillips by her side. Born May 4, 1941 in West Mifflin, she was a daughter of the late Alice Mae (Hallas) and Charles Metzler and enjoyed riding and traveling with her husband on their Harley's.

Besides her husband, Alice is survived by her daughters Ruth Ann Mackulin of Elizabeth and Anna Marie Harkins of Hunker; her son Charles Mackulin of Elizabeth; granddaughters Cassie, Jenna and Shaina; great-granddaughter Cali; brothers Duane Metzler of Montgomery, AL and Ray (Judy) Metzler of Grant, AL; sister Patty (Robert) Young of Elizabeth; nieces and nephews; and also survived by Ed Phillips children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. A private ceremony and burial will be held in South Carolina; local arrangements by Paul E. Bekavac Funeral Home, Elizabeth. Donations in Alice's name should be made to the Special Olympics Allegheny, 404 1st. St., Carnegie, PA 15106.
