Kathleen Marie Whitman, 62, of Glassport, formerly of Clairton, passed away at home on Friday, February 26, 2016.

She was born in Clairton on December 8, 1954 to the late James and Helen Seseck Grimes.  Kathy is survived by daughter, Amanda Grimes of Charleroi;  grandchildren, Samantha Jordan, Ciara Stickles, Joseph Stickles Jr. Rylen Grimes; and great grandchildren Ania Marie Brimage and Kaylum Ellis.  Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by brother, James Grimes and sister, Patricia Grimes Oates.  Kathy was a member of Glassport Assembly of God Church, employed by US Steel Clairton Works in the Food Service Department, and formerly worked at Bucks Tavern. Family and friends will be received on Tuesday March 1, 2016 from 2 – 4 and 6 – 8 pm at E C FINNEY FUNERAL HOME, 235 Monongahela Avenue, Glassport,  PA   15045. Service will take place following visitation, at the funeral home, at 8:00 pm.
