Florence E. Johnson Hinkle, 79, of Irwin, died Saturday September 16, 2017. She was born April 2, 1938 in New Castle, a daughter of the late Joseph Gordon and Eva (James) Plush. She is survived by her husband David P. Hinkle; her children Darlene B. Anthony of Greensburg, Dan Johnson of Liberty Boro, and Dean Johnson of West Newton; her step children Sharon Jacobs of SC, Lori Gutshall of North Huntingdon, Kelly Celsic of Bentleyville, and Amy Gerwing of TX; twenty one grandchildren; a brother Larry Plush of New Baltimore; and her beloved dog Pepper.
At Flo’s request there will be no viewing. A private memorial service will be held at William Snyder Funeral Home Inc., 521 Main Street, Irwin.
