Catherine S. Williams, 91 of White Oak died October 13, 2017 at UPMC Shadyside.  She was born August 1, 1926 in Monessen, daughter of the late Julius Peter  and  Mary Barbara Doerfler Schmidt.

  She was a member of St. Agnes Church, The Christian Mothers, enjoyed sewing, and spending time with her family.  Catherine was also an avid Pirate and Penguin fan.  She was formerly a Secretary for Pittsburgh Steel Foundry and the owner of Mon Valley Office Equipment in Charleroi.  In addition to her parents she was preceeded in death by her husband Warren "Mitch" Williams, brothers John and Raymond Schmidt, sister Sister John Bosco Schimdt.  She is survived by 4 sons, Patrick (Brenda), James, Joseph (Christina), Raymond (Kimberly), 6 daughters Mary B. Williams (Leo Kwiecinski), Nancy (Ron) Wetzler, Maureen (Gary) Dolney, Kathleen Brown, Marjorie (Greg) Peduzzi, Michelle (Michael) Yaniga, brother Joseph (Betty) Schmidt, and sister Sister Mary Schmidt; 26 grandchildren Gary (Leanna), Emily, and Alex (Bianca) Wetzler; Lauren and Mitchell Dolney; Justin and Marissa Williams; Eric and Hannah Brown; Alexis Peduzzi (Ryan) Budziszewski, Olivia, Alaina, and Jonathan Peduzzi; Mea Price-Williams; Chloe, Joseph, Jeremy, Jacob, and Joshua Williams; Madison, Mackenzie, Maria, and Michael Yaniga; Maximus, Luke, and Leah Williams; and 2 great grandchildren Jackson and Adalyn Wetzler.  Friends will be received at the James W. Shirley Funeral Home, 176 Clay Pike, North Huntingdon, Pa on Mon 6-8 p.m. and Tues 2-4,6-8 p.m. A funeral Mass will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. at St. Agnes Church followed by interment at West Newton Cemetery.
