Catherine A. Hartman, age 94 of North Versailles, died peacefully at home Monday, October 23, 2017.  She was born July 16, 1923 in Pittsburgh, the daughter of the late John and Alice Farnan Leitchenfield and the wife of the late George Hartman, Jr.  

She was an avid bingo and card player, a member of the Hill Top Pensioners Club of East McKeesport, life time member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary in Pittsburgh and longtime member of Sunset Volunteer Fire Company.  She is survived by son, George (Barb) Hartman of N. Versailles; daughters, Catherine J. (Frank) Gavron of N. Huntingdon, Elizabeth (John) Eskey of Landson, S.Carolina, Peggy (Frank) Ratesic of McKeesport; the proud grandmother of Kristen (Tom) Kerber, Colleen (Phil) Lazzaro, Jennifer (Jason) Mumpower, Michael (Michelle) Ratesic, Cortney (Paul) Dukes, Nicholas Hartman, Erin Eskey, Emilie (Fiance, Paul) Hartman; 11 great-grandchildren.

Family and friends will be received Wednesday, Oct 25th from 6:00-8:00 pm and on Thursday, Oct. 26th from 2:00-8:00 pm at Strifflers of White Oak Cremation & Mortuary Services, 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, PA 15131 (Sue Striffler Galaski, Supervisor 412-678-6177). Mass of Christian burial will be held Friday, Oct. 27th at 10:00 am In St. Angela Merici Parish with Fr. Kevin Dominik officiating.  Burial will follow.
