JOHN G. “JACK” “PAPA“ GARDNER, 79, of Glassport, died Dec. 7, 2017. 

He is the son of the late Robert and Elsie (Foreman) Gardner.  He is survived by his beloved wife Patricia (Hysmith) Gardner; children Deborah Coban, Lawrence (Ladonna) Gardner, Tracey (Richard) Costa and Lesley Russen; grandchildren Erin (Matthew) Dick, Kevin (Jennine) Zebroski, Amanda Coban, Nicholas (Christine) Coban, Michael Gardner, Lucas Gardner, Stephanie (Steve) Taylor and Corey (Leah) Russen; step grandchildren Jessica and Hallie; great grandchildren Tracey, Paul, Reghan, Logan, Luka, Emma and John; great great grandchild Ronan and sister Carol (Gene) Gregg, also nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his sister Kathryn (Don) Sterner. Jack was retired from Copperweld.  Friends received Wojciechowski Funeral Home, Glassport, Sun. 2-8.  A funeral service will be held Mon. 10:00 am in the funeral home with Larry Coltura.  Interment following Penn Lincoln Memorial Park.
