Joseph L. Kovac Jr. 80, of North Huntingdon died December 14, 2017 at Forbes Regional Hospital. He was born December 7, 1937 in Wilkinsburg, PA, a son of the late Joseph L. and Donna Kovac.

Joseph was a member of St. Agnes Church, North Huntingdon and a veteran of the National Guard.  He enjoyed playing the lottery, was an avid Penguins and Steelers Fan and liked history and trains.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Irene Koncerak Kovac. He is survived by, one son, Joseph Kovac III (Gina Sambuco);  two daughters, Gina Lubash and her husband, Andrew, Suzanne Craft and her husband, James; brother, Louis Kovac and his wife, Cheryl Ann; sister, Donna Kovac;  four grandchildren, Joseph L. Kovac IV, Angela Salvatore, Jessica (Michael) Angert and Sarah Angert.   Friends will be received at the James W. Shirley Funeral Home, 176 Clay Pike, North Huntingdon on Sunday from 11-2 p.m.  A Mass of Christian Burial  will be held Monday at 10 a.m. in St. Agnes Church, North Huntingdon followed by interment in Grandview Cemetery. www.shirleyfuneralhome.com
