Richard A. "Diz" Disman, age 68, of Forward Twp., passed away on Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at Jefferson Hospital. A veteran of the Navy Seabees, he was a field supervisor and design draftsman for SNC Lavelin in Canonsburg and a former employee at Eastman Chemical Plant in West Elizabeth.
Born May 13, 1949 in McKeesport, he was a son of Janora (Enberg) Disman of Forward Twp. and the late Richard A. Disman Sr. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Martha "Marcie" (Lesko) Disman; sisters, Diana (the late Bernie) Woolf of Elizabeth, Cynthia (William) Morris of Elizabeth and Susan (Robert) Lewis of Perryopolis; brother, Brian Disman of Forward Twp.; sisters-in-law, Jo-Ann (Garrison) Trozzo of Wasilla, AK, Kimberly (Charles) Lesko VanRyn of Clairton and Elaine Lesko of Anaheim, CA; brother-in-law, John "Jack" (Joanne) Lesko of Anaheim, CA; also, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by brothers, Guy and Mark Disman. Friends will be received in the Paul E. Bekavac Funeral Home, 221 North Second Avenue, Elizabeth on Sunday, December 17, 2017 from 2-4 PM and Monday, December 18 from 2 until the time of service at 7 PM in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Benjamin Schneider officiating.
