Miriam J. Dick, age 87, of North Huntingdon, passed away Friday, December 22, 2017 at William Penn Care Center.

She was born April 25, 1930 in McKeesport, daughter of the late Edward and Jessie Carbley Massung.  Miriam was a member of Miller United Methodist Church where she was the former pianist, and she enjoyed sewing, baking and reading.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband C. William Dick; and grandson, Matthew.  She is survived by her son, William Dick and his wife, Joanie; daughters, Donna Meininger and her husband, Paul, Susan Dick; foster daughter, Pixie Dunlap; brother, Glenn Massung and his wife, Dolores; grandchildren, Walter, Russell, Amelia, Heather, Hannah; and 14 great-grandchildren.  Friends will be received at the James W. Shirley Funeral Home, 176 Clay Pike, North Huntingdon, on Tuesday from 5-8 p.m.  A funeral service will take place on Wednesday at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel.
