Helen A. Mascilak, 82, of North Huntingdon, passed away Sunday, January 14, 2018 at Forbes Regional Hospital.

 She was born March 1, 1935 in Derry, Pa., a daughter of the late Lemon Orange and Sarah (Wedge) Ankney.  Prior to her retirement, Helen was a sales clerk for K-mart and a member of St. Michael's Greek Orthodox Church, Rankin, PA.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Mascilak.  She is survived by her son, John; daughter, Patricia Montomery and her husband, Richard; brothers, Dwayne and Ronald; sisters, Hazel and Grace; brother-in-law, Joseph (Sharon); sister-in-law, Dolores; grandchildren, Richard (Lisa) Montomery, Shelia (Matt) Moyer; and numerous nieces and nephews.  Friends will be received on Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the James W. Shirley Funeral Home, 176 Clay Pike, North Huntingdon, PA.  A funeral service will take place on Wednesday at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel.  Interment in Penn Lincoln Memorial Park.  www.shirleyfuneralhome.com.
