Mercedes K. Cisco, age 79 of Clairton, passed away on Wednesday, January 17, 2018.  Born August 16, 1938 in Mt. Pleasant, she was a daughter of the late Edward and Eleanor (Crilley) Smith.

A devoted mother and grandmother, Mercedes was preceded in death by her husband Ramon Cisco, who passed away on November 16, 2014, and her brothers Edward and Jerry Smith.  She is survived by her children Mary Cisco Payo and Nick (Barb) Cisco, both of Clairton, her grandsons Thomas and Daniel Payo, her brother Charles Smith of Glassport, and also nieces and nephews.  A private visitation and funeral service was held for Mercedes on Friday, January 19, 2018.  Arrangements by the A.J. Bekavac Funeral Home, 555 5th.
