Donald J. Duffy, 86, of North Huntingdon, passed away Monday, January 22, 2018 at RNC Greensburg.  He was born, April 16, 1931 in East Pittsburgh, a son of the late James and Marie (Lewis) Duffy.

Prior to his retirement, Donald was a tool designer for Westinghouse Electric and was a veteran of the US Army serving during the Korean War Era.  He was a member of the Society of Manufacturing Engineers and Norwin VFW Post 781.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, D. Eileen Duffy; brother, James Duffy; and sister, Jean Moorhead.   He is survived by his two sons, Raymond Duffy and his wife, Marianne, Thomas Duffy; daughter, Lori Kaiser and her husband, Mark; six grandchildren, Kristin (Chris) Stanley, Christopher Duffy, Angela (Dan) Geary, Jacob Kaiser and his fiance, Erika, Michelle Duffy, Joseph (Dominee) Kaiser; and one great-grandchild, Telsa Grace.  Friends will be received on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the James W. Shirley Funeral Home, 176 Clay Pike, North Huntingdon, PA.  A funeral service will be held on Thursday at 10 a.m. in the funeral home chapel.  Entombment to follow in Penn Lincoln Memorial Park.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Disabled American Veterans.  www.shirleyfuneralhome.com.
