Edward A. Tomko Sr., 89, of North Huntingdon, passed away Friday, March 11, 2016 at Hamilton Hills Assisted Living, Turtle Creek, PA. He was born April 3, 1926 in Pittsburgh, a son of the late Michael Tomko and Elizabeth Hudachko Tomko Sebula. Ed was a charter member of St. Agnes Church North Huntingdon. Prior to his retirement, he was employed by Fisher Body Division of General Motors with 30 years of service. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Army Air Corps having served during WWII.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Patricia Petrick Tomko in 2008; two sons, Edward A. Tomko Jr. and Thomas A Tomko, a grandson, Leslie J. Tomko, a brother, Michael Tomko; two sisters, Mildred Babyak and Joanne Topoloski. He is survived by his two sons, Dave Tomko and an additional son in Laurel, Maryland, 8 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren.. Friends will be received at the James W. Shirley Funeral Home, 176 Clay Pike, North Huntingdon, PA on Friday from 6-8 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday at 10 a.m. at St. Agnes Church. Interment will be private.
