Rose Marie Conroy, 81 of Irwin, passed away Thursday, February 8, 2018 at Senior Care Plaza, McKeesport.  She was born May 22, 1936 in North Versailles, Pa., a daughter of the late Thomas and Margaret (Brady) O'Malley.

 Prior to her retirement, Rose Marie was a customer service representative for Merck Medco.  She enjoyed gardening and loved playing with her dachshund, Molly.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Thomas O'Malley; sisters, Mary O'Malley and Pat Quinn.  She is survived by her sons, Kevin Conroy and his wife, Carrie, Tom Conroy and his wife, Karen; daughter, Beth Ann Conroy; grandchildren, Heather Conroy, Alex DeClair, Emily Conroy; and her loving nieces.  Friends will be received on Sunday from 3-7 p.m. at the James W. Shirley Funeral Home, 176 Clay Pike, North Huntingdon, PA.  A funeral service will be held on Monday at 9:30 a.m. in the funeral home chapel.  Interment to follow in Penn Lincoln Memorial Park.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.  www.shirleyfuneralhome.com
