Frank R. Papciak, 95, of Greensburg, passed away Sunday, February 25, 2018.  He was born June 7, 1922 in Chicago, IL, a son of the late Jacob and Mary (Paliga) Papciak.

Prior to his retirement, Frank was a contractor for Ryan/A&R Builders and a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church, Greensburg.  A World War II veteran, he took the Army values and use them in everyday life. He was a man of honor. His integrity was his moral compass which was a model for all who knew him. A mentor for young people teaching them the importance of respect and a sense of duty to those less fortunate. Most of all he loved his family.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Anna D. Poohar Papciak; brothers, Rich and Don; sisters, Helen, Vera, Ann and Bernice.  He is survived by numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.  Friends will be received at the James W. Shirley Funeral Home, 176 Clay Pike, North Huntingdon on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m.  A funeral service will be held on Thursday at 10 a.m. in the funeral home chapel.  Interment to follow in Irwin Union Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Guardian Angel Medical Service Dogs.  Mail donation to Veterans Cable Service Inc., 3591 Ridgeway Drive, Bethel Park, Pa., 15102.  www.shirleyfuneralhome.com.
