Larry Hartos, age 69, of Duquesne, died Sunday, March 18, 2018. He was born September 20, 1948 in McKeesport, the son of the late Arthur L. and Blanche Melcarsky Hartos. Larry was employed at the Bettis Atomic Power Laboratory as an industrial electrical technician for thirty-eight years. He was the board president of the White Oak American Legion post 701, and former member of the Bethlehem Congregational Church. 

He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Leslie Wilderman Hartos, son Brian (Leslie) Hartos of N. Huntingdon, brother David (JoAnn) Hartos of Elizabeth, sister, Karen (James) Chokey of The Woodlands, Texas, and proud grandfather of grandsons; Luke A. and Logan M. Hartos.

Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, March 21, 2018 from 2:00 p.m. until the White Oak American Legion services at 7:30 p.m. at Strifflers of White Oak Cremation & Mortuary Services, 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, PA 15131. (412-678-6177). Funeral services will be held on Thursday March 22, 2018 at 10:00 am with Reverend David Mozeik officiating. Burial will follow at Round Hill Cemetery.
