Gerald T. Zambanini, 67, of North Huntingdon, died Friday March 30, 2018. He was born December 26, 1950 in Springdale, a son of the late Abraham and Renee Zambanini and step son of the late Elsie Zambanini. Gerald was a graduate of McKeesport Hospital School of Nursing and continued on to their anesthesia school and was certified as a CRNA. He also received a bachelor’s degree in education from California University. He was a retired nurse anesthetist for UPMC McKeesport Hospital. He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Janet E. (George) Zambanini and a son Christopher Komyanik of Arlington VA.

At Gerald’s request there will be no viewing. A private funeral service was held and entombment took place in Penn Lincoln Memorial Park. The William Snyder Funeral Home, Irwin, is in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers a contribution can be made to the American Red Cross.
