Fred August Happe Jr., 76, of Clairton, formerly of Bridgeville, passed away at home on Sunday April 15, 2018. He was born in Upper St. Clair on May 17, 1941 to the late Fred A. and Mary Happe Sr. Fred is survived by daughter, Mary Elizabeth (Jack) Happe Arelt of Brentwood; son, Fred A. Happe of Tarentum; grandchildren, Michelle, Daniel, Joshua; great-grandchildren, Aleena, D.J., Daevon, Jaylee, Jonathan; brothers, Ronald Happe and Glen Happe both of FL. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by stepson Jody Happe. Fred was a veteran of the US Army having served during the Vietnam War, was retired from the maintenance department of US Steel Clairton Works, was adept at electrical repair, and was a self-ordained pastor. Arrangements have been entrusted to S. M. FINNEY FUNERAL HOME, 432 N. 6th Street, Clairton, PA 15025. The family suggests donations be made to the funeral home to help defray expenses.
