Robert Lindahl, age 87 of Marion, Texas, formerly of White Oak, died Saturday, April 28, 2018. He was born May 24, 1930 in McKeesport, the son of the late Harold and Margaret Jones Lindahl.
Robert was a 1948 graduate of McKeesport High School and attended the University of Pittsburgh and Penn State. Robert served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. He was a member of the Air Force Association, Korean War Vets of Western PA, Communications Workers of America (CWA), Bell Telephone Pioneers and American Legion Post 710 White Oak. After the Air Force, Robert worked for Bell Telephone Company until his retirement. He is survived by his wife Elizabeth Bunda Lindahl, and daughters; Valerie (Larry C.) Lindahl Moore of Marion, Texas, and Michelle Renee Lindahl of Orlando, Florida; also, granddaughter Elizabeth Leslie Moore of Marion, Texas.
Friends and family will be received on Thursday, May 3, 2018 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at Strifflers of White Oak Cremation & Mortuary Services, 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, PA 15131 (Sue Striffler Galaski, Supervisor 412-678-6177), where service will be held on Friday at 9:30 am with Pastor Jim Leuenberger officiating.
