William F. “Bill” Clay, age 97 of McKeesport died Friday, March 25, 2016.  He was born in McKeesport on September 29, 1918 and is the son of the late William R. and Mary Skelly Clay.  He is the husband of Katherine A. Sullivan Clay of McKeesport.  He was a retired certified public accountant.  He served in the US Army Air Corp during WWII and was a member of the American Legion in White Oak.

In addition to his wife, Katherine he is survived by his sons, W. Matthew “Matt” (Donna) Clay of Greensburg, Michael J. (Lori) Clay of White Oak, Robert (Margaret) Clay of West Mifflin; grandchildren, Jacy Keenan, W. Russin Clay, Rick Blose, Lindsay Robertson, Katherine Horrell, Tara Casta Qeda, Natalie Clay; 3 great-grandchildren; also nieces and nephews.  He is preceded in death by his daughter, Margaret Clay; brother, Thomas Clay; and sister, Mary Jane Clark

Friends will be received Tuesday, March 29th from 2:00 to 4:00 & 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Strifflers of White Oak Cremation & Mortuary Services Inc., 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, PA 15131, (Sue Striffler Galaski, Supervisor, 412-678-6177).  A Mass of Christian burial will be held Wednesday at 10:00 AM in Corpus Christi Church with Father Kevin Dominik officiating.   Burial will follow.
