Jason Stokes, 43, of North Huntingdon, passed away Saturday, May 19, 2018 at Forbes Regional Hospital surrounded by his loving family.

 He was born, December 30, 1974 in McKeesport, Pa., a son of Chris and Judith (Karlovski) Stokes.  Jason was a senior analytical chemist for Valspar.  He was a 1993 graduate of Elizabeth Forward High School, 1999 graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania and earned his Masters of Science in Analytical Chemistry Degree in 2003 from Duquesne University.  He was a member of St. Agnes Church, and enjoyed hunting, archery, and fishing.  He loved spending time with his family bike riding, taking walks, and skiing.  He was also an avid Pittsburgh Sports team fan cheering on the Steelers and Penguins.  In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Darci Shipley Stokes; son, Ethan; daughter, Allison; mother-in-law, Regina Shipley; brothers-in-law, Jamie (Pamela) Shipley and Darrell (Kim) Shipley.  A memorial service will take place on Saturday at 10 a.m. at St. Agnes Church, 11400 St. Agnes Lane, North Huntingdon, PA.  15642.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family for Ethan's and Allison's college fund.  www.shirleyfuneralhome.com.
