Marie Plecenik, age 88 of North Huntingdon died May 25, 2018. She was born Feburary 6, 1930 in McKeesport, Pa., a daughter of the late Herman and Marie Pauliesko Greenewald.

Marie loved baking, candy making, Pittsburgh sports teams but most especially being with her family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph in 2010; daughter, Patricia Massey;  sister, Elsie Kenney; brothers, Albert 'Rubbie", Walter, Herman, Otto and Edward,  She is survived by two daughters, Karen Plecenik and Dr. Gary Herbert, Joanne Mirise and her husband Kevin; son-in-law, Scott Massey; grandchildren, Brittany Bouschard and her husband Zachary, Andrew Linder and his fiance, Emily, Willow, Perrin and Sunny Mirise, James Massey; one great-grandchild, Declan Bouschard. Services and interment were private. Memorials may be made to Golden Heights Activities Fund, 1015 Pennsylvania Ave., Irwin, Pa., 15642 or to St. Jude.
