Pearl Fraser, age 89, of Forward Twp., passed away on Tuesday, July 10, 2018 at Mt. Vernon of Elizabeth. A member of First Presbyterian Church of Elizabeth, she was a retired cook for the Elizabeth Forward School District. She enjoyed bingo and crafts at Mt. Vernon of Elizabeth.
Born July 1, 1929 in Elizabeth Twp., she was a daughter of the late Elmer and Mildred (Parish) Sorg, and wife of the late Milton "Scotty" Fraser. She is survived by daughters, Bonnie (Walter) Hibner of McKeesport and Candy Topp of Forward Twp.; grandchildren, Joelle (Daniel Nicomatti) Hibner, Timothy (Heather) Hibner, Kelsee (CJ) Knox, Raena (Justin) Bacon and Jorie (Erik Jenkins) Gunsallus; great-grandchildren, Landon, Colby, Paisley, Quinn, Logan, Hunter, Lonnie and Killian; sister, D. Jean (Barry) Graham of Finleyville; also, nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by brother, Ronald Sorg. Friends will be received in the Paul E. Bekavac Funeral Home, 221 North Second Avenue, Elizabeth on Friday, July 13, 2018 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. A funeral service will take place on Saturday, July 14, 2018 at 10 AM in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Benjamin Schneider officiating. Burial will follow in Jefferson Memorial Park, Pleasant Hills.
