Donald J. Williams, 79, a longtime resident of North Versailles, died Tuesday July 10, 2018. He was born December 24, 1938 in Lincoln Place, a son of the late James and Dolores (Ohm) Williams and was also preceded in death by a brother Paul Williams. Don was a graduate of McKeesport High School, class of 1957 and worked for 42 years at Westinghouse Airbrake Company, Wilmerding. He was a longtime volunteer for East Allegheny Meals-On-Wheels and was a willing and helpful neighbor to many. He was a true Christian and his willingness and cheerful spirit will be missed by all. He was a devoted husband for 47 years to Janet L. (Arnosky) Williams; brother of Rev. Robert (Yvonne) Williams, John D. Williams, and Mary Jean Sherrill; and uncle of Deborah Sammons, Cristin Kersten, and Lance and James Williams.

Friends will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Forgie-Snyder Funeral Home, 1032 Broadway, East McKeesport, 412-823-8083, where a funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday with his brother, the Rev. Robert Williams officiating. Entombment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery.
