Arthur B. Rudge, 87, of North Huntingdon, passed away Tuesday, August 7, 2018 at Concordia of Monroeville.  He was born May 19, 1931 in Swissvale, a son of the late Arthur S. and Ruth (Learmer) Rudge.

 Prior to his retirement, Arthur was an engineer for Volkswagon and Auburn Engineering and a veteran of the US Army having served during the Korean War.  He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Irwin and enjoyed doing yardwork and cars.  In addition to his parents, Arthur was preceded in death by his wife, Grayce A. Byers Rudge; and grandson, Josh Kelley.  He is survived by his sons, Dale Rudge and his wife, Diane, Darryl Rudge and his wife, Christine; daughters, Lisa Kelley and her husband, Ted, Cynthia Bradich and her husband, Joe and Becky Ross and her husband, Ed; nine grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.  Friends will be received on Thursday from 3-7 p.m. at the James W. Shirley Funeral Home, 176 Clay Pike, North Huntingdon.  A funeral service will take place on Friday at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel.  Interment to follow in Irwin Union Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.  www.shirleyfuneralhome.com.
