Lloyd C. Guidas, 88, of North Huntingdon, passed away Monday, August 20, 2018 at his home.  He was born September 18, 1929 in Mt. Pleasant, a son of the late John and Mabel (Perkins) Guidas.

  Prior to his retirement, Lloyd as an assembly manager and welder for Overly Manufacturing in Greensburg. He was a member of Circleville United Methodist Church, social member of VFW Post 781, captain of the special police for North Huntingdon and a veteran of the US Army having served during the Korean War.  In addition to his parents, Lloyd was preceded in death by his wife, Lois L. Guidas; brothers George, John and Bill; and son-in-law, Mike Bailley.  He is survived by his son, Ken Guidas and his wife, Melanie; daughter, Andrea Bailley;  grandchildren Sherri Spears, Shawn Bailley, Charity Rochford, Jereme Guidas; and  great-grandchildren Corinne, Johnathan, Sydney, Sunni, Tallon, Hayley and Derrick.  Friends will be received on Wednesday  from 6  to 8 p.m. at the James W. Shirley Funeral Home, 176 Clay Pike, North Huntingdon.  A funeral service will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel.  Interment in Penn Lincoln Memorial Park.  www.shirleyfuneralhome.com.
