Rita C. Hadbavny, 84, of North Huntingdon, passed away Monday, April 4, 2016 at Excela Health Westmoreland. She was born September 21, 1931 in Pittsburgh, daughter of the late Joseph and Mary DeVera Pavlik. Rita was a member of St. Agnes Parish. She was a loving mother who enjoyed being a homemaker and enjoyed spending time gardening. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Hadbavny; son, Timothy Hadbavny; brothers, Andrew, Joseph, Cyril Pavlik; sister, Irene Pavasik; and grandson, Daniel. She is survived by her sons, Michael Hadbavny, David Hadbavny and his wife, Cindee, Robert Hadbavny and his wife, Barb; daughter, Eileen Iwinski and her husband, Chuck; grandchildren, Scott, Kelly, Adam, Ryan, Jason, Jennifer, Justin, Joshua, Brandi; great-grandchildren, Lilly, Brooke, Justin, Cora, Conor, Brayden, Jocelyn; sister, Dolores Bombara; and her furry companion, Jackie. Friends will be received at the James W. Shirley Funeral Home, 176 Clay Pike, North Huntingdon on Wednesday from 4-8 p.m. A blessing service will be held on Thursday at 10 a.m. in the funeral home chapel.
