Clifford A. Gephart Sr., age 83, of Elizabeth Twp., passed away on Thursday, September 27, 2018 at Jefferson Hospital. He retired as a co-owner of Cannon - Tedesco & Company in McKeesport. He enjoyed golfing and spending time with his family.

Born September 2, 1935 in Elizabeth Twp., he was a son of the late Louis and Anna Mae (Grimes) Gephart and husband of the late Sarah Jane (Walmsley) Gephart. He is survived by sons, Clifford A. (Theresa) Gephart Jr. of Greenock and Duane (Kathy) Gephart of Mt. Vernon; daughters, Brenda (Craig) Eckert of North Huntingdon and Hope (Dave) Gess of Greenock; grandchildren, Clifford A. Gephart III, Matthew (Desiree) Gephart, Brad (Emily Carlson) Gephart, Natalie (Scott Bonivich) Gephart, Cheryl Eckert, Amber (Jesse Hooke) Eckert, Catie Gess and Austin Gess; great-grandchildren, Brielle and Blake Gephart; sisters, Minnie Cunning of Lincoln Borough, Patsy Stewart of Irwin, Marion Pirtle of San Diego, CA, Hazel (Moe) Trumpe of Forward Twp., Twylia (Dale) Richardson of Forward Twp. and Donna (Nick) Butkin of Elizabeth Twp.; brother, Louis W. (Sandy) Gephart of Elizabeth Twp.; sister-in-law, Clara (Robert) Barger of Greenock; also, nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by sisters, Evelyn Opfar and Anna Lou Brown and brothers, John F. Gephart and James A. Gephart. Friends will be received in the Paul E. Bekavac Funeral Home, 221 North Second Avenue, Elizabeth on Sunday, September 30, 2018 from 1-8 PM and Monday, Oct. 1, 2018 from 11 AM until the time of service at 12 PM in the funeral home chapel with Rev.
