Alex Hutsko Jr., 78, of North Huntingdon, passed away Thursday, October 11, 2018 at Forbes Regional Hospital. He was born August 6, 1940 in McKeesport, a son of the late Alex and Mildred (Musulin) Hutsko. Prior to his retirement, Alex was a field engineer for Peoples Natural Gas, a veteran of the US Navy having served during the Vietnam War, and a graduate of McKeesport High School Class of 1958. He was a member of St. Agnes Church, an antique car enthusiast, and enjoyed going to car shows. He is survived by his sons, Matt Hutsko and his wife, Marisa, and Russell Hutsko; brother, Charles Hutsko and his wife, Paula; sister, Dorothy Ikach; and grandsons, Alex and Eric. Friends will be received at the James W. Shirley Funeral Home, 176 Clay Pike, North Huntingdon on Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Monday at 9 a.m. in St. Agnes Church with Msgr. Paul Fitzmaurice officiating. Burial to follow in Penn Lincoln Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Wounded Warriors. www.shirleyfuneralhome.com.
