Genevieve Margaret Long, age 82, of McKeesport died Sunday, April 10, 2016 at Riverside Nursing Center of McKeesport.  Genevieve was born August 23, 1933 in Duquesne, PA. She is the daughter of the late Husain and Anna Rusinko Sheriff and wife of the late John L. Long. She was preceded in death by sisters Marie Magdic, Dorothy Smith, and Alice Stevenson. She is survived by brothers William Sheriff and Ron (Gail) Sheriff of Jefferson Hills and many nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received on Thursday from 2-4 pm at Hunter Edmundson Striffler Funeral Home, 600 Market St., McKeesport, PA 15132 (412-678-6191). Interment will be held at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies. Online condolences may be made at www.strifflers.com
