Bruce Paul, 75, of Greensburg, passed away Friday, December 21, 2018. He was born April 26, 1943 in Herminie, a son of the late Anthony and Helen (Wrobel) Paul. Prior to his retirement, Bruce had a lifetime career in education culminating in his position as the executive director of the Westmoreland Intermediate Unit, which provides a variety of services including those for special needs students. Bruce also presided over valet parking service at Westmoreland Country Club for over 30 years. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, telling jokes, karaoke, and was an avid Duquesne Dukes basketball fan and Pittsburgh Pirates fan. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his infant son. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Horner Paul; sons, Anthony (Jessica) Paul, Jeff (Jill) Horner; daughters, Stephanie (Kirk) Campellone, Jennifer (Dan) Miller, Deborah Horner (husband, Jason Meyers); brother, David "A.C" Paul; grandchildren, Maria, Declan, Brady, Griffin and Peyton; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Friends will be received at the James W. Shirley Funeral Home, 176 Clay Pike, North Huntingdon, PA on Wednesday from 3-7 p.m. followed by a memorial service.
