Emil G. Sujeta, age 87, of Jefferson Hills, passed away on Monday, January 7, 2019 at Mt. Vernon of Elizabeth. He retired in 1993 after 44 years as a steelworker for U.S. Steel Clairton Works. He enjoyed the outdoors, including hunting and fishing. 

Born April 4, 1931 in Clairton, he was a son of the late John and Mary Sujeta. He is survived by his wife, Joanne (Cyphers) Sujeta; daughter, Eleanor Sujeta of Jefferson Hills; sons, Emil (Gayle) Sujeta of Elizabeth Twp., David Sujeta of Jefferson Hills and Michael Sujeta of Jefferson Hills; grandchildren, Alan and Amanda Sujeta; brother, Steve (Norma) Sujeta of Elizabeth Twp.; also, nieces and nephews. Friends will be received in the Paul E. Bekavac Funeral Home, 221 North Second Avenue, Elizabeth on Thursday, January 10, 2019 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. A funeral service will take place on Friday, January 11, 2019 at 12 Noon in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Jude Urso officiating. Burial will follow in Round Hill Cemetery, Elizabeth Twp.
