Laura “Sheli” Novosedliak, age 59 of N. Versailles, died Friday, January 11, 2019. She was born in Butler, PA on March 2, 1959. She was a member of Linway United Presbyterian Church in N.Versailles where she loved crafting and was a member of the quilting group and the Feeding the Homeless program. She was a former member of Eastern Star and a Cub Scout leader for Pack #85. She was dedicated to her sons and was very involved with East Allegheny schools. “Sheli” was “mum” to everybody
Laura is survived by her husband Joseph Novosedliak; sons, Caleb and Macijah; mother Sara (Charles) Cahall of Callery, PA; brother, Scott (Kim) Baker of Elkins, W. Virginia; sisters, Susan (Bill Paul) McCloskey of Sarver, PA and Sharon Felker of Evans City; nieces, Lauren Baker and Jenna Felker; nephew, Samuel McCloskey, and many other dear nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father Alfred “Skip” Baker. Service will be held Saturday, January 26, 2019 at 11:00 am at Linway United Presbyterian Church, 600 Lincoln Highway, N. Versailles, PA 15137 with Rev. Eric Dennis officiating. Arrangements by Strifflers of White Oak Cremation & Mortuary Services (412) 678-6177.
