Kenneth N. Hensler, 82, of East McKeesport, passed away Tuesday January 15, 2019 at home surrounded by family. Ken retired from U.S. Steel Research Center, Monroeville, and had worked for U.S. Steel for forty years. He was a member of Miller United Methodist Church, North Versailles and a former volunteer for Meals On Wheels. He is survived by his wife of 60 years Viola “Vi” (Rowley) Hensler; his sons Kenny C. Hensler and his wife Shellie of Kennedy Township and Raymond G. Hensler and his wife Kathy of Cranberry Township; his grandchildren Matthew (wife Sara), Kelly, Michael, Brad, and Rachel Hensler; his sister Rita Marrow of East McKeesport; also nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents George and Angeline (Vash) Hensler; and siblings Mert Binkney, Jean Castile, Dolores Marks, and Raymond Hensler. Friends will be received from 1 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Forgie-Snyder Funeral Home, 1032 Broadway, East McKeesport, 412-823-8083. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in Miller United Methodist Church, with Rev. Timothy A. Williams, officiating. Entombment will follow in Penn Lincoln Memorial Park.
