Margaret L. “Peg” (McAnulty) Schweinberg, 75, of Irwin, died Monday April 18, 2016. She was born April 8, 1941 in Blairsville, a daughter of the late Ronald D. and Anna Mae (Paynter) McAnulty. Peg was a former employee of the Standard Observer and former tax collector for Hempfield Township. She was a member of Wendel Herminie Athletic Association and she and her husband were organizers of American Legion; Post 53.
She loved going to the casino and loved Dairy Queen She is survived by her husband of over fifty years, John C. “Chick” Schweinberg; her sons, John T. (Sherry) Schweinberg of Lober, and Joseph A. Schweinberg and Shawn C. Schweinberg both of Irwin; and her grandchildren, Krystal, Shawn David, Laurel, and Brooke. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the William Snyder Funeral Home Inc., 521 Main Street, Irwin, 724-863-1200, where a blessing service will be held at Noon Saturday.
