Steven C. Barnette, age 43 of Clairton and formerly of Pensacola, FL, passed away on Thursday, April 21, 2016 in Forbes Hospice at West Penn Hospital, Pittsburgh.  Born April 28, 1972 in Pensacola, he was a son of Randy (Cindy) Barnette of Perry, FL and the late Mary Jane (Youst) Salter.

A Veteran of the US Navy, Steven worked as a chef at Daytona Speedway and Applebees.  Besides his father, he is survived by his wife of 15 years Roxanne (Gecan) Barnette of Clairton, his sister Karen (Bobby) Hagman of Greenville, SC, his uncle Michael Barnette of Daytona Beach, FL, his niece Kayla Hagman, and his mother-in-law Norma Gecan of West Mifflin.  Interment will be private at the request of the family.  Arrangements by the A.J.
